What People's Say About Place

I live in Baton Rouge and was looking for something close to the Ramen experiences that I have there. The owner was super kind. I ordered the spicy chicken Ramen (hold the cabbage) and it was amazing! This is probably the best Ramen in the Tri parish.

When we first arrived at the parking lot, we almost reconsidered entering since it had a bit of an unassuming vibe. However, I’ve learned that some of the best culinary experiences come from the most unexpected places, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, we noticed the unique ordering system where we selected our dishes and paid upfront before finding a seat. It left me a bit puzzled about tipping—should I leave one, and if so, how much? Once seated, the friendly gentleman who took our order promptly started preparing our drinks and delivered them right to our table. Shortly after, we ordered some fried dumplings, which were delightful, and the sushi soon followed. It was absolutely delicious, crafted to perfection. Throughout our visit, the staff checked on us just the right amount, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, this place is truly a hidden gem in Houma! Delicious sushi and friendly staff! Our friends recommended this new place for us to try. We got take out and it was tasty. Creamy tuna roll, California roll, Rainbow roll, and Spicy snow crab roll were all great! We will have to try the ramen and fried rice next time.

I ordered the fried sushi appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. Went with the Creamy Tuna Roll and that was also amazing! My friend ordered the spicy tuna fried hotdog roll and he loved it. Everything was hot, fresh, and aesthetically pleasing. Would recommend!

Check out this little gem in Houma. The signage is minimal, so it is easy to miss. The food on the other hand was vibrant and screaming with flavor. My partner and I shared a seaweed salad, squid salad, Spicy Tuna Ponchatrain Roll, and a Rainbow Roll. All were superb. The squid salad had some kind of pickled vegetables thing happening. It was delicious and surprisingly my favorite. The seaweed salad was seaweed salading. Both rolls were fresh, flavorful, and rolled with love. The staff were really friendly. We chatted with the owners for awhile. Oh…… and our bill was only $34…………. I kind of feel like they paid us. lol. Anyways! Go try them out. They are small, but their food is mighty. If they look close, they are not.

If you’re looking for incredible sushi in our small town, this hidden gem is the place to go! The food here is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We tried the spicy edamame, shrimp spring roll, spicy California roll, and spicy double snow crab roll—everything was fantastic! The house-made spicy sauce is a must-try and really takes the flavors to another level. The spicy edamame was my personal favorite, coated in that amazing sauce that I could honestly eat on everything. One thing to note is that the shrimp spring rolls are much larger than expected—more the size of a small burrito than a traditional spring roll—so just keep that in mind when ordering. Now, the atmosphere isn’t exactly what you’d expect from a typical sushi restaurant. It’s a small, family-run spot that’s still finding its identity, and the decor is a bit of a mix-and-match. But honestly, when the food is this good, the ambiance takes a backseat. One thing to note: you place and pay for your order at the front before sitting down, including tipping upfront. While I have no issue tipping (I actually tend to over-tip), I do prefer tipping after service based on the overall experience. That said, the food and pricing make up for the unconventional ordering process. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for fresh, delicious sushi at a great price. I’m excited to see how they continue to grow, and I’ll definitely be back!

Went there for the first time last Saturday night. I got the seafood poke bowl. It was delicious. Everything was really fresh and the taste was amazing.
